JUNIOR OVERNIGHT CAMP

packing  list

Campers that will be going into grades 5 or 6
should bring the following to camp on Thursday; labeled with camper’s name and bus stop:

  • Sleeping bag and pillow case (can be stuffed with extra clothes and used as a pillow)
  • Pajamas and a small stuffed animal (optional) for comfort
  • Toiletries (towel, soap, comb, toothbrush, etc.)
  • Flashlight and/or headlamp with new or additional batteries
  • Change of clothes, sweat shirt
  • Long pants and jacket for the evening

Campers should not bring money, treats of any kind, jewelry, toys, games, cell phones, etc.  All items, except the sleeping bag should be packed in a small waterproof tote bag.  The sleeping bag should be placed in a garbage bag (or waterproof stuff sack) to keep it clean and dry.  Each girl is responsible for her own gear, so whatever she packs, she must be able to repack it herself and carry it to the campsite area.

We assume that every camper within this age group will be staying for the sleepover unless we receive either a note or an email by Wednesday from the parent stating otherwise.
